Farmer's Market

Welcome to Ann Arbor's Farmers' Market in Kerrytown. While the Farmers' Market runs throughout the entire year, business really picks up in the spring and summer. During the months of May and June the market is filled with hanging baskets of impatiens and geraniums, and pots of gerbera daisies, rose bushes, and morning glories. The market is made up of people who come from all over southeastern Michigan in order to sell their goods, which also include fresh fruits and vegetables, woven baskets, jewelery, and even artwork. I love going to the Farmers' Market in the spring and early summer in order to find new plants for around the house but also to run into family friends. This weekend my dad and I headed down to the Farmers' Market to pick up some hanging baskets and morning glories. We ran into the parents of one of my brother's elementary school friends. It's a great place to enjoy summer and catch up with old friends! Welcome to summer in Ann Arbor!
